OUR STORY

It Started With One Dog.

Building a pet brand was never my plan.

For years, I worked in the art industry, but my greatest passion had always been dogs.

When I had the opportunity to work with them every day, I knew I had found where I belonged.

Soon after adopting my rescued dog, she developed severe digestive problems that led to multiple emergency veterinary visits.

Even after switching to premium commercial foods, her condition didn't improve.

One day, my veterinarian suggested something simple:

"Why don't you cook for her yourself?"

That conversation changed the direction of my life.

I began studying canine nutrition, researching ingredients, and preparing every meal myself. Every decision was made with one goal—to create food I could trust enough to feed my own dog.

More than 17 years later, she's still by my side and continues to inspire everything we create at CareK9.
