Our Story – How CareK9 Began

My journey began in 2011 when I adopted a female dog from a shelter. She suffered from severe gut issues and ended up in the emergency room twice. To help her, I started making all her food and treats myself. I studied, researched, and discovered one important truth:
the best food for dogs comes from pure, whole-food ingredients.

I’ve followed that principle ever since. Today, she is about 17 years old (she was estimated to be 2–3 when rescued) and still in perfect health. Watching her thrive confirmed my belief that a dog’s diet directly affects their comfort, health, and happiness.

In 2019, I began offering professional dog bath products. In 2021, I expanded into whole-food treats and food toppers — always keeping health, honesty, and innovation at the center of every product.

Many owners say their dogs are like their children. If so, shouldn’t they receive the same quality of nutrition and care? Dogs only need a few essential things to live happy lives: real food, protection, walks, playtime, and companionship. When we provide these with intention, their lives transform.

That is why every CareK9 product is handcrafted with research, honesty, and respect for their health — not just for flavor, but for wellness and longevity. I continue to create new products, always asking one question:
“How will this improve their life?”
